The Panorama at the 2008 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest. Symposium's reference loudspeaker system has enjoyed a complete facelift - with significant improvements and refinements over "prototype" versions displayed at earlier audio shows. These refinements include:
- Completely new "Triple Enclosure" bass system, the first to use separate Transmission Line and Optimum Q sealed enclosures in an "MTM" configuration
- Dedicated Ultra Platform "Stealth" Edition bases for both HF and Bass module towers for improved enclosure isolation and spurious energy absorption
- Narrower, more attractive Lower Midrange damped stainless steel baffles and Upper Midrange-Tweeter module baffles for reduced wave diffraction
- Massive 3" x 1" solid 6061 aircraft aluminum skeleton frame for HF tower for greatly improved rigidity and mechanical grounding
- 1.375" thick, constrained-layer-damped bass enclosure front wall construction with 0.625" thick, solid 6061 aircraft aluminum front layers
- Independently Rollerblock®-isolated bass enclosures ensure minimal interaction among bass units
- New Symposium® RT-1 Ribbon Tweeters with improved magnetic circuit and improved ribbon suspension system
- Revised 5-Way passive crossover system improves midbass region coherency and further reduces intermodulation distortion
- Crossover Network Control Center with individual driver silver-coin-contact level controls and system absolute phase control
- Internal Siltech wiring
