The Ultra Platform is also available in a "Motor Cutout" Edition, which provides for a separate, isolated "island" for the turntable's motor and flywheel (if any), in order to increase isolation of turntable motors and flywheels from the rest of the platform. Shown here is but one of many different configurations possible, including multiple islands for turntables with multiple motors.

The motors and flywheels should be coupled DIRECTLY to the platform with NO rubber feet, since rubber feet will force greater reflection of the motor noise through the pulley drive system exactly where you don't want it to go - namely, the turntable platter.
